Windows 7 has seen record presales, drowning out any recollection of Vista, and most reviews and user experience summaries come back positive.

Even though Windows 7 is not as intrusive as Windows Vista's User Account Control, Windows 7 still maintains high security standards, as do all Microsoft application, and goes hand-in-hand with the recently released (and free) Security Essentials software from Microsoft.
