Today is a significant milestone for Network Associates(R). Effective today, the company has officially changed its name to McAfee, Inc. and will be changing its New York Stock Exchange ticker symbol to NYSE: MFE. Under the McAfee(R) name, we will continue to expand and grow our security offerings with renewed focus on innovative security solutions for our customers and partners. As a McAfee customer, you will continue to enjoy the benefits of world-class technology and outstanding services.

This name change is a significant step in completing the company's transformation to a leading provider of IT security solutions and services. We have also launched our new home page http://www.mcafee.com, with the latest McAfee security solutions, technology updates and industry information for enterprises, small-medium businesses and home/home office users.

McAfee, Inc. expects to close the sale of the Sniffer Technologies network management business to Silver Lake Partners and Texas Pacific Group in the second half of July.
