News: What's Under Your Sink?
Posted by: Jas Batra on Wednesday, August 06, 2003 - 12:10 AM PST
Internet News Oxnard, CA - Last Friday, the National Library of Medicine opened their new website listing ingredients of household products...

The website, located at http://householdproducts.nlm.nih.gov contains more than 4,000 household products, ranging from cleaning agents, to laundry products, shampoos, sprays, and the like.

While browsing the site, common information returned per product includes details on the package itself, the manufacturer, warnings, and the ingredients.

Using this website can assist those that are allergic to specific chemicals, or those looking up what "diisobutyl adipate" is really used for. Chemical information includes common names, health studies, and even toxicity information.
